Floorplan Live doesn't show ellipses. To make one show, explode it into arcs first.
Make an ellipse show on Floorplan Live
Select the ellipse.
On the MODIFY ribbon, click Explode. The ellipse becomes lots of arc segments, and those show on Floorplan Live.
NOTE: Once it's exploded, you can't change the ellipse's diameters or radii in the Properties Explorer any more.
Make it easier to move
Select all the arc segments.
On the MODIFY ribbon, click Build, then Build Polyline. See Convert Lines to Polyline.
TIP: As one polyline it's easier to select and move, but you still can't edit the ellipse properties.
Turn an ellipse into a stand
Explode the ellipse and join the arcs into one polyline (see above).
On the HOME ribbon, click Draw Stands, then Create from Polylines. See Creating Stands from Polylines.
