Here is a list of all the Keyboard shortcuts available in Event Floorplan Designer. These shortcuts cannot be changed, but you can create your own Hot Keys which work in a similar way.
F1 : Help
F3 : Toggle ‘Select Stands Only’ on/off - When switched on, you can only select stands.
F4 : Opens a ‘Mini Menu’ while a stand(s) is selected to quickly change some stand properties
F6 : Toggle ‘Angle Lock’ on/off - Locks mouse movements in 45 degree increments while drawing/moving an entity.
F7 : Turn ‘Snap’ ON
F8 : Turn ‘X-Y Co-ordinate’ ON
F9 : Turn ‘Distance / Angle’ ON
CTRL + A : Select all objects
CTRL + C : Copy
CTRL + X : Cut
CTRL + V : Paste
CTRL + I : Entity information
CTRL + N : Start a new drawing
CTRL + O : Open a drawing
CTRL + S : Save the drawing
CTRL + Q : Quit the program
CTRL + Drawing Tab : Pressing and holding CTRL while switching drawing tabs disables the Auto-save that may occur when normally switching tabs. This is useful for when you have to do a lot of copying and pasting between large drawings, speeding up the process of switching drawings.
CTRL + Y : Redo
CTRL + Z : Undo
CTRL + DEL : While stands are selected, this clears the stand Name and Stand Type.
CTRL : While adding multiple stand numbers using the Add Stand Numbers function - Press and hold CTRL while clicking on a stand to decrement the number.
CTRL OR SHIFT - Press and hold one of these to select multiple entities.
O : Border Orientation - While drawing or editing a View Border, press this to toggle the orientation of the border between landscape and portrait.
O : Symbol Insertion Point - While inserting a Symbol, press this to toggle between the insertion base points (if any exist).
U : Unlock Layer - Hover over an entity until the Yellow ‘Tool Tip’ box appears, then press U to unlock the layer that entity is on. NOTE: Will not work if layers have been locked using the Keep Locked function.
L : Lock Layer - Hover over an entity until the Yellow ‘Tool Tip’ box appears, then press L to lock the layer that entity is on.
R : Reset text on a stand - Click and let go on a Blue node that is attached to text, press R and the text will be reset. You can also reset text on multiple stands using the Reset Stand Text function.
Space Bar : Toggle Red/Blue nodes - Press this while a stand(s) is selected and the corner Red/Blue node will swap.
Arrow Keys : Move an object - While an entity is in ‘Move’ mode, press an arrow key in the direction you want to move the entity, a box will appear to let you type a distance to move the entity.
+ : Symbol Rotation - While a Symbol is selected, press this to rotate the symbol anti-clockwise in 45 degree increments
- : Symbol Rotation - While a Symbol is selected, press this to rotate the symbol clockwise in 45 degree increments
U : Undo last segment - While drawing a line, polyline etc, pressing this undos the last segment.
C : Close Line - While drawing a line, polyline, irregular stand etc closes the line.
X or Y : Point Filter - While hovering over a point on an entity, such as an End point, pressing X or Y will lock the cursor in the X or Y plane. Intellisnap also does the same.
