I am unable to select something, why is this?

If you are having trouble selecting something, it could be for one of the following reasons:

The entity you are trying to select is on a locked layer - [How to Unlock Layers](#Unlocking Layers).

The 'Select Stands Only' option is enabled - How to turn this off.
