Part of the plan is cut off. The most likely cause is that the View Border isn't linked to the View. Go to Manage Views on the HOME ribbon, edit the View and choose the border under Link to View Border. See Edit Linked View Borders.
Thin lines don't print. If a line is thinner than the printer's smallest dot, the printer skips it. To fix this, either set your printer to print in High quality, or make the stand outlines thicker.
A blank PDF. Check the view scale. A scale set to 1:1 by mistake can give a blank export.
Other entities on the build components PDF. When you use Calculate Build Components, other entities show on the PDF only if they're on layers named with these prefixes: Notes - PHASE 0 -, Notes - PHASE 1 -, Notes - PHASE 2 -, and so on. There must also be at least one symbol on the stand, in the same phase.
Build symbols missing from the stand components PDF. If a build symbol doesn't appear on the stand components PDF, make sure it's visible on screen when you close or save the drawing. This only affects the stand components PDF. PDFs created by exporting a view aren't affected.
